About the presentation:

The federal fleet’s dramatic entrance into the bay began with USSTecumsehstriking a torpedo and sinking. Once the Union squadron anchored in Mobile Bay, Admiral Buchanan decided his only choice was to attack Farragut’s entire command. CSSTennesseewas rammed and pounded by heavy shot, forcing its surrender. This marked the closing of Mobile Bay as a haven for Confederate blockade runners.
